Red Dog Operations contributes to education, youth, health and cultural organizations in nearby communities that are home to many of our employees.

• In 2009, we provided over 10,000 gallons of heating oil at a reduced cost, which saved the local communities over $50,000.
• As a good corporate citizen, the mine provides a host of yearly community benefits. In 2009, Red Dog contributed $100,000 to local school district to support their technology program.
• Under the Red Dog donation program, $416,000 in funding was given to various organizations in 2009.
